Privacy

TeamDues helps volunteer coaches, team managers and treasurers collect team fees. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we never do with it.

Information about kids

We store a player's first and last name only. We don't collect birth dates, photos, medical information, school, or any contact details for players. All player information is entered by an adult (a coach or team admin), never by a child. Kids don't use TeamDues.

Information about parents and guardians

• Name, phone number and email address, entered by the team's coach or admin.
• What each family owes, what they've paid, and how (card, cash, check, Venmo or other).
• Whether you agreed to texts, and when and how you agreed.
• The messages we send you and your replies to our texts.

We use this only to show you what you owe, take payments for the team, and send reminders and receipts. We don't sell it, rent it, or use it for advertising.

Text messages

Because your coach added you, the only text we send before you agree is one message asking if you want reminders by text. We send nothing else by text unless you reply YES or turn texts on from your payment page. After that, you'll get fee reminders and receipts for your team, usually 1 to 6 a month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop them, or HELP for help. Phone numbers and text consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing.

Email

Every email has a link to stop reminder emails. Your payment page keeps working either way.

Payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe on the team's own Stripe account. We never see or store full card numbers. Stripe's privacy policy covers the card details you give them.

Coaches and team admins

We store your name, email, and the teams you manage. If you connect Stripe, the identity and bank details you give Stripe stay with Stripe.

Who we share with

• Stripe, to process card payments and team subscriptions.
• Twilio, to send and receive text messages.
• Amazon Web Services, to send email.
• Our hosting and database providers, to run the service.

Keeping and deleting data

Coaches can remove players and parents at any time. To delete a whole team or your own account, or to ask what we hold about you, email privacy@teamdues.com.
